The coco peat (coconut peat) are made by coconut husks. Coconut is another well benefiting item of the coconut tree. Sri Lanka is well-famous for high quality coconuts through out the world due to its fertility. The chips are made of cutting coconut husk into small pieces by machines. The coconut peat contain very little particles. Coconut peat has dried to the desired condition.(Dryness <25'c)
Unlike coco bricks, this media is guaranteed to have a zero salt level as it has been washed three times with fresh water during production. This is a huge benefit over regular coco blocks which are washed with salt water and contain excessive salt (sodium chloride).
