This premium organic compost is rich in plant nutrients & carbon and teeming with billions of beneficial soil microorganisms! The average analysis of this special compost is 1.3% N, 0.7% P, 1.1% K. This analysis is higher than regular composted horse manures due to the diet of these horses and the composting and production process.
This is a slow-release NPK Ratio of 2-1-1 fertilizer that won't burn and can feed for up to 4 months per application.
Their manure, which is collected daily from their individual stalls, is a product of premium hay, alfalfa, and specially formulated Thoroughbred Horse feed. The nitrogen/nutrient-rich urine in the stall is also part of the raw materials as well. All this material is then mixed together, thoroughly composted, then dried, shredded, and screen-sifted. The final product is dense and nutrient-rich!
This compost is produced in our South Texas desert climate, so it is never leached of nutrients by rainfall like some composts are that are produced in areas of high rainfall.
After going through the complete composting process, what is left is rich, dark, odor-free, organic compost ready to use on all plants and soils.
1 Gallon of this high analysis compost is bagged and shipped in a large Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded Envelope (9.5" x 12.5").
Average weight is 2.5 - 5 lbs, based on the moisture content of the compost.
