Punguicula SUPER soil! Both of these plants are the same age. 2 months ago, I moved one plant to a 4 inch pot and used this soil. Now its huge and has divided into FIVE plants and covered with flowers!
This soil contaimn peat, perlite, benificial bacteria, and benificial fungus and has ZERO  added nutrients.
The pot 4 inch I put it in was used because of the pots size. Pinguicula have small and short roots and dont need that deep of a container. 2 inches deep is good enough. Width is what you want in order to support the plant as it grows.
I measure this out by packing it tightly into a one gallon pot. Its roughly 1.6 pounds or 25.62 ounces. This will fill many shallow pots. I have a lot of my plants in small condiment cups and 2 inch pots and they get just as big but theres not much room for them when they divide.
Both of the plants in the picture are the same age!
