Succulents & Cactus
Plant Potting Soil Mix.
**
This can be used for Cacti, Cactus, Palm, Crassula, Sedum, Gasteria, Haworthia & Sempervivum.
**This is a lightweight, airy soil mix. Not dense, compressed or compacted.
**It consists of 50% peat moss and 50% coarse perlite (picture shows 20% perlite, there will be more)
**This high perlite peat-based soil mix is ideal for water sensitive plants and low light growing conditions.
**The perlite (super coarse), provides extra drainage and is chemically inert and sterile.
**
There are no extra additives to this potting mix and no fertilizers.
**Available sizes:
* 1 dry quart (or 3 heaped cups or 4 level cups) - The soil amount will fill an unsealed sandwich sized ziploc bag all the way to the top heaped or a sealed 1 quart size ziploc bag to the top.
* 2 dry quarts (or 1/2 gallon or 8 heaped cups or 9 level cups) - The soil amount will fill a 1/2 gallon ziploc bag.
* 4 dry quarts (or 1 gallon or 15 cups)- The soil amount will fill a gallon ziploc bag to the top.
**Pot size - how many pots can soil fill?
1 quart / 3 cup bag - can fill 10 (2" pots) or 5 (3" pots) or 2 (4" pots)
2 quarts / 8 cup bag- can fill 22 (2" pots) or 11 (3" pots) or 4.5 (4" pots)
4 quarts / 15 cup bag- can fill 40 (2" pots) or 18 (3" pots) or 8.5 (4" pots)
Please note, this is an estimate and the amount may vary slightly, based upon plant stem size and root size.
